Nestled along the picturesque shores of Florida’s Space Coast lies NASA’s renowned Kennedy Space Center. This captivating destination caters to families, offering an array of awe-inspiring experiences, attractions, and events suitable for all ages. Situated just South of New Smyrna Beach and Ormond Beach, it is the ideal day trip location for those with a passion for space exploration.

Watch a Launch

Few experiences rival the sheer awe of witnessing a launch in person. Many beaches lining Florida’s East Coast, including New Smyrna Beach and Ormond Beach, provide prime vantage points for observing the Kennedy Space Center launches. For those who like to be in the action, launches can be viewed from two exciting KSC locations: the main visitor complex, included with a regular admission ticket, and the Banana Creek Launch Viewing Area at the Apollo/Saturn V Center, requiring an additional premium ticket purchase.

Upcoming launches include the final Delta IV Heavy Rocket Launch on March 28, 2024 and an Atlas V Boeing Starliner Crewed Flight Test in April of 2024. The Kennedy Space Center has other special events planned for this Spring like the Partial Solar Eclipse and Earth Day Celebration on April 8, 2024 and hosts weekly meet and greet opportunities with astronauts.
